What is a fair price to get a car bumper painted?

I am planning to buy a replacement and i need to get it painted. I do not need it color matched, as i have the color code, my car is fairly new, and i would be happy if the bumper was simply the original color. It is for a 2002 nissan sentra. Thanks

So far the best price i found was 225 for a painted bumper. I plan to install it myself. Is that a good deal?|||My friend owns a body shop. Retail for bumpers is usually around 350 with install. 225 with install would be a good deal. 225 to install it yourself is a bit much. As was mentioned before, 150 sounds like a better deal since they're not removing and replacing the bumper... just painting.|||about 150...|||Go to asnubumpers.com for a good deal on bumpers.|||Color match isn't just a paint code. Each painter mixes their own paint based on the vehicle code, a good painter will match a color flawlessly (esp. gold, or other light metallic) The second thing you want to make sure of is that the painter is using a quality clear coat or top coat. Dupont, PPG, and or Sikkens are pretty standard in the industry. Stay away from OMNI (off brand of ppg) or sherwin williams (the KIA of paint). Most bargain shops are using lower end product, so be careful. It may not seem like a big deal, but a year down the road when the clear is yellowing/cracking it looks terrible. You will always get a better deal if the piece is new, and off the vehicle. If you shop around, you should get it done for 150 with quality clear.
