How do I remove bumper stickers from a car?

I have three bumper stickers that are on a car that I just got used. The stickers look like they have been on the bumper for YEARS. I've tried scraping them off, but they are practically one with the bumper now. I do not want to just cover them up with other stickers...any ideas?|||I own a taxi company and have to remove decals from old police cars I get and The BEST thing on the market that will easily take off sticky residue is a product called Goo Gone Extreme! You get it at walmart. It has to be goo gone extreme (in a red can) and not just regular goo gone. (let it soak on the spot for a few minutes. Then use a terry cloth or 100% white cotton rag to rub the stickers off. Good luck|||WD 40, or diesel fuel|||blow dryer if they are milar or plastic.. do be very carefull either way if you have painted bumpers !! wait till its warm out side and peel them off slowley .|||First try getting the stickers wet and peel off as much as possible. Then you can you varnish or rubbing alcohol and scrap off the rest.

1.Washcloth


2.sticker remover or adhesive remover


3.microfiber cloth


4.chammi


Steps:


1.Get the washcloth in one hand and place it directly underneath the sticker.


2.Then pour the goo gone onto and at the top of the sticker.


3.Let it soak.


4.with the microfiber cloth smoothly start picking at the edges of the sticker


5.The sticker should start slowly removing. now pour more remover behind the sticker( if possible)


6. Then start in a buffing motion with the micro fiber cloth out the sticker


7.Sticker should start coming off. once off. finish with the chammi.


8.Rub area after with water.





P.S. The goo gone at AutoZone sometimes comes with a white plastic device that they say to use. Personally i would not use it. I used that white utensil on my brand new 07 truck and it left little scratches where the sticker used to be. Just some advice. The best way is to not use it and do the steps i listed.
