How much does it typically cost to repair front end damage, like replacing the bumper and a head headlight?

Today I spun out and hit a gaurdrail. The drivers side of my bumper got hit pretty bad, the head light got knocked lose and the entire bumper is dented. The hood is fine however, and the passenger head light is just fine. Basically bumper down I need to be replaced. Oh, its a 1996 Honda Accord.|||If it's mostly on the driver's side, are you sure the side panel is fine? If it's just the bumper and headlight, it'll probably cost you something like $700. I had to replace a bumper on an Acura RSX, and the part alone was something like $350, then you have to add labor, and they have to paint it to match. The total (a couple years ago) was around $650.|||If you take it to a body shop and want it completely fixed it will run well over a $1,000...with a 15 yo car I suggest you just get things hammered out and get the headlight some how functionally fixed (not cosmetically, just so it is going to stay in one place and work)...if you ask for that type of minimum repair you may get someone to do it for a few hundred dollars.|||If you shop around, you can get the parts for about 150-200.. (about 100-150 for the bumper, about 50 for the light)..

Someone to paint it will be like 100-150, and to put it on will be another 100. I would do it for that price, and all my mechanics would do it prolly for a little more or a little less, but that is the median.

If you get it done in just one pace (say ashop,) theyll charge you more... the job total is going to be about 600 or 700.. Look for "car parts" on craigslist around your area, and get the bumper from them and the headlights.. Peple will deliver it to you..
