How difficult is it to replace the front bumper of your car by yourself?

I'd like to replace my car's bumper myself, because it seems as if it would cost less money. Is it really that hard to do?|||It varies from car to car, but the hardest part is getting into the tight spaces to get at the bolts and clips that hold it on. Everything else is common sense. if its in the way of the job, remove it. Taking stuff off takes time but it makes the job go a lot easier. Good luck!|||Not really. Remove the headlights, then the arch lining, the a few bolts that hold the bumper on. Colour spray painting is easy, but it's not so easy to get a good gloss finish with spraycan sealant.
