Where to find the plastic strip on top of Jeep Cherokee rear bumper?

I have a 1997 Grand Cherokee and have been rear ended recently. I replaced the rear bumper, but the replacement bumper did not come with the plastic strip on top of the bumper, and my old one has been damaged. Does anyone know what that part is called (it's a kind of plastic bar with gouges that sits on top of the bumper just below the tailgate). And also where I could buy it? Thanks a lot!|||It's called a "rear bumper step pad". I would have to say that you're gonna have to go to your local auto body shop because I looked for the part online and I could only find them for 99-01 models. Your local auto body shop though should either have them or find them with ease.

How do I safely remove the goo from a removed bumper sticker left on a real nice paint job?

My sweet new ride came with a lousy bumper sticker on it. I peeled it off, but goo remains. I need to remove it without any serious scrubbing or damage to the paint. The chemicals would have to be very mild. Maybe you guys can help. Otherwise I guess I call Grandma : )|||I work in the auto body shop for 15 years. Using wax is the best way.|||Try putting some peanut butter on it,the oil from the peanut butter might break the goo down so it will just roll off.Just a thought,I don't know why, it just popped in my head when I read your question, and it want hurt the paint on your car.

What does a "bumper to bumper" warranty mean for an extended warranty? Is it different from factory warranty?

I am buying a used car that has7K miles left on the factory warranty. Should I buy an extended warranty till 75K for "bumper to bumper"?|||Bumper to Bumper on an extended warranty usually covers you for major MECHANICAL malfunctions. They do not usually cover light bulbs or trim pieces. Lots of times they are a pain to deal with and most of the time will leave you feeling frustrated when they denie a claim. Some places with not accept certain "after-market" warranty companys|||Bumper to bumper means that every and any thing that goes wrong with your car they will fix. How much does it cost to fix paint on front bumper?

I have a black 03 Honda Civic EX and I accidently parked to far at a parking lot and hit a stone thing. It made a scratch going down on the front of my bumper on the right side.

How much would it cost to fix it?|||My husband is an auto-body painter so I know a little about this, but not too much! It depends on how they fix it. The best thing you can do is either see if you can get a shop to touch it up so that they just use touch-up paint in that one spot. It won't look as perfect as repainting it, but if they are good you won't notice it. Another thing that some body shops do is if you have a small job like this, you can make a deal with them that if you pay them in cash and don't use insurance, they can fix it for you and they will give the painter half the money and take the other half as profit. Ask around, don't take the first shop to throw a deal at you.|||Just do it yourself with some touch up paint, its only a bumper, why pay someone to do it. Get the correct paint at the auto store or dealer if you have to.
